The Pressurekeepers
Clean your pipes!
Long rumored to be Tulara University's real maintenance workers, the Pressurekeepers are a group of students, alumni, and faculty who believe that the system of pipes, aquaducts, and pressure regulating machinery below the venerated city has a perfect intended state; and their job is to return it to that mythical harmony.
Outwardly they are invaluable engineers. The group is a semi-sanctioned engineering collective that maintains the city's water and cooling infrastructure almost religiously; people will often bow to them, and make way for them to pass the rare times they are seen on the street. They are beloved of intellectuals and mechanics alike.
Inwardly, however, things are a different story. Those who have gotten to know the group from the outside consider them a bunch of greasy fingered, smug scholars who treat the city's infrastructure as holy scripture.
