Marek Tazruul
Monsignor Marek Tiberius Mercen
Marek is the owner of The Tippled Gander in the Garden District of the city of Tulara. He is a former trader, and still has contacts with a trading caravan that provides him with rare liquors and other tidbits from afar. He is known to have Singer contacts as well, and rumored to be the scion of a Singer tribe.
Marek denies any relation to royalty, by blood or by proxy.

Personal history
Marek has owned and been working at the Tippled Gander for seventy years and counting. He rarely thinks to wonder why his years seem to be so prolongued compared to other humans, only pausing briefly to consider some elvish blood somewhere in his background; or, perhaps, the rumors of Gold Dragon blood are true.
Education
Marek was educated at Tulara University, with a master's in Hospitality under his belt. He also boasts several understudies, and has become semi famous for several amateur archaeology finds.
Employment
He is self employed, and indeed, is perhaps the most well off purveyor in the city. It helps to have had the backing of Sheherizade herself. He is also enormously wealthy from his prior escapades with al-Adin the Sailor, which he keeps to himself.
