Discovery, Exploration
Only one further landsmass was discovered to the southwest. Most of the world consisted of seas with a few islands clustered in different places, usually volcanic in nature.
The southern continent of Hírilórëa, Southern Haven, was an enigma. Its vast size and varied climate made it unlike anything the elves had ever seen. It was a world of extremes, from the blazing deserts of the equator to the frozen tundra of the southern pole. Yet, despite its inhospitable nature, there was a haunting beauty to the land that captivated the elves.
Though they found no sentient life on this continent, the Valaraith did find other forms of life that were strange and wondrous. Creatures that could change their form at will, plants that could move, and other things that seemed to defy the laws of nature. The southern continent remained a mystery to the elves, but it was a mystery that they cherished, and they vowed to continue exploring its secrets for generations to come.
