Though they did not attribute magical properties to the river, they regarded its waters as a source of purity and life. Many elven rituals and ceremonies involved the waters of Rhegilond, and it held a revered place in their culture.   The elves' deep connection to the Rhegilond extended beyond spiritual significance. The river's waters were considered essential for crafting their elvish wines, renowned for their exquisite taste and enchanting quality.
