Session 3 Report

Due to most unforeseen circumstances most of our heroes fell ill after their last adventure into the Sewers under Westlight. Kain, Chad, Percival, and Tim all accidentally contracted Deadly Butt Rot, while Bernice contacted it for fun. That only left the more hearty members of our party Fenrice and Merrygold. They decided to mul about Westlight and look for work, while their companions recovered. First stop was the market where they informed Lazura the Mysticwhisperer that her brother Gillie had unfortunately been killed (by the party), they also returned his necklace to her. Lazura gave Merrygold and Fenrice the 50 gold promises as well she assured them that they were owed a favor by the river folk in return. After this they travelled to the Westlight Guard Post to pursue some work. There they met the angry dwarf Captain Twilight, who informed them that the guard was in desperate need of help as of late. He set them to the case of an alleged Grave robber who was selling his ill-gotten wares at an illegal nighttime auction. Luckily a suspect was being held just downstairs who had purchased some stolen goods from the auction. This prisoner was Scotty Soulpatch and after Fenrice paid his bail and fed him some dubious Mushrooms he reluctantly agreed to help the party find the auction even though he had little idea where it would pop up next. Scotty in tow they headed to the last known location of the auction to wait till night. They passed some time by visiting the Tooth Taker, where Fenrice purchase a pickled jar of Sugar Bugs. After this, there was only but to wait, and keep an eye out for the "red Candles" that Scotty mentioned before departing seeing his duty as fulfilled. They eventually saw the suspect Igneous Ilgut setting up his wears as a small crowd gathered including a couple of guards. Fenrice and Merrygold not being ones to turn down a possible deal participated in the Auction before following Igneous back to his camp and ambushing him. Merrygold Blinded the old man leaving him virtually helpless to resist them. They then robbed the crooked grave robber and brought him to an awaiting cell at the guard post where unfortunately Scotty found himself again. They were rewarded for their efforts and decided to call it a hard days work there.
