Thunderstrike Orinson

Prince Thunder Strike Orinson (a.k.a. Thunderstrike)

Mental characteristics

Personal history

For a number of years, Thunder Strike, in his "second self" as Don Blake, was one of the medical staff at the Gironde School for Gifted and Special Needs Students. He left nearly all of the "day job" aspects to the second self who had been created as a cover to hide the prince. Mostly he came forward to work on his motorcycle or to work on a "Special Projects" assignment as a Wyldfire Agent.

Unusual but not unique among the staff, he kept an apartment off-campus but spent most of his waking hours at the school. Previously, Don worked in Metropolis for a long time as an EMT. His ambulance was destroyed before Captain America could quite divert the danger; while Don was rebuilding his savings and repairing his salvaged equipment, Thunder took the proffered job at the School as a specialized instructor, plus emergency medical support for students and staff.

Actually, it'd be a little more accurate to say that Don was a "combat medic" reservist for Wyldfire, but Thunder Strike was an active member of the team, since it became more and more apparent that they were not at all the same person. The team tried not to ask Don about it, he exhibited so much distress and anxiety.

When Thunder regained most of his memories -- and his restrictive links to both "Don Blake" and to the throttles on his Atomic Hammer were cleanly dismantled -- Prince Thunder joined his mother. He now assists in protecting the kingdom of Atlantea while he and Queen Mera guide ongoing searches for lost King Orin.

  OOC NOTE about timeline!

  • Actual first appearance of mostly-Don Blake was Corporate Wars 2: Die Hard on July 11th, 2000.
He spent most of the adventure trying to find some privacy so he could get out his hammer.
  • That makes his walk-off date a month earlier around the beginning of June 2000. Subtract 10 weeks for training and another 8 weeks for "Don Blake" to recover from the STAR Labs procedure, that puts his start at STAR Labs on Thursday, January 27th, 2000. Which probably means his court date was 3 days before? So Monday, January 24th, 2000.
  • Next appearance of Thunderstrike that I have is Case of the Sleeper Plague set on March 12, 2002.

There's a gap in between those adventures of 20 months. What did Don and Thunderstrike do in the meantime? I feel like I'm missing some adventures starring the Blond Flying Tank in there. Does anyone have notes to fill in that gap? If yes, please pass a private note about it to the GMs.
