Tiran
Tiran is a mythological hero, worshiped by many as the god of justice, order, light and healing. He is also the patron deity of The Free City of Vynn and, in some accounts, its founder.
He is often associated with a winged horse named Alarond, a powerful entity in his own right. Tiran and Alarond were said to be inseparable companions and together, they fought in a long holy war, banishing dark entities in their wake and allowing civilization to prosper.
He is believed to have been slain in Tiran's Fall by The Crimson Queen who, passing as a human woman, seduced and betrayed him, looking to destroy Tiran's Shield and free her master, but the plan failed after she herself fell victim to the shield's power.
From his deathbed sprung Tiran's River, whose waters are thought to be his blood. The river is sacred to those who worship him and pilgrimages to Tiran's Fall are often performed, the waters from its spring said to contain healing proprieties capable of slowing aging and curing ailments.
