The Crimson Queen
The Crimson Queen is an ancient evil entity most known for passing as a human woman and seducing the legendary hero Tiran in a plot to destroy his shield and release her master, plunging The Free Cities into darkness once more.
Her plan succeeded in killing Tiran at Tiran's Fall, but failed to destroy the shield when she herself became the target of its power as Tiran's last heroic act before his demise.
She is seen by most in The Free Cities as a symbol of evil, but in dark circles has come to be worshiped by those who covet power and chaos. Most prominently The Crimson Hand, an organized cult, who in recent years almost succeeded in freeing her from her prison. Her teachings have been compiled in The Grimoire of the Crimson Hand, a most unholy scripture, rich in forbidden knowledge of the occult arts.
