Orrery was a male furry societarian of bush dog phenotype.He had a stocky body covered in reddish-brown fur except for his belly and extremities which were black, and had a patch of lighter fur low at the front of his neck.
He had a short bushy tail and a very thick neck, with a face that looked almost bear-like, making a few individuals doubt his origins.
Personality
He was polite and indirect, often playing with his words in a way that was uncommon of the Merthiornite Royal Family.He was noted to be reserved in his position as consort king, relying entirely on Honye for important decisions, and mantaining his low profile after her death.
Life
Orrery was born in the 20th of Sowing, 2879 E.Alz in the small city of Embertree in the Merthiorn Island as Orrery of Embertree from a high-society family of jewellers and metalworkers with strong ties to the government. He married Honye of Merthiorn in 2899 E.Alz, who went on to become queen of the Kingdom of Merthiorn a few years later. Their first daughter, Onnamar, was born in the 15 of Harvesting of 2904 E.Alz.On the 12 of Swimming of 2918 E.Alz, an assasination attempt was made to Orrery and Honye where he received minor injuries and Honye was killed making Onnamar the regeant queen.
Orrery was then relegated to an advisorial position, which he enjoyed and used to keep a low profile politically until his death in 2957 E.Alz.
