Sin Diamond

Jasmine could never lie about the fact she loved the spotlight. She was already working with a small social media following before she ever became a hero. Once she actually started to showcase her powers and dipping her toes into heroism, she exploded. Her fans loved her and her i don't care personality that she embraced in every facet. When she became a mentee of the hero Rockstar, she became Gemcoat and was fully accepted as part of the hero community as well.

Her and Rockstar would team up with H.N.I.C. and his mentee H.B.I.C. Rockstar and H.N.I.C. were best friends, and H.B.I.C. held a similar attitude towards life as Jasmine. The two mentees would frequently work together, make videos and cultural statements about fighting for causes. But Jasmine always had a way of coming off insincere to people, it was something she could never shake off.

It all started with a rumor, after a fight that was caught on camera. Gemcoat was knocked down near someone who was hiding and recording everything. Instead of jumping back into the fight to help immediately, she went to the camera and winked. In the background Rockstar was knocked unconscious, and at the mercy of his opponent who seemed like they might kill him. H.B.I.C. saved him just in time and called out to Gemcoat, after the fight the moment went viral. People who claimed she was insincere, and that she was a fake hero suddenly got a lot of support. Her friends supported her the whole time, especially H.B.I.C. but she began to suffer under the stress. Then the rumor started of H.B.I.C. being tired of always defending someone so irresponsible. Along with edited video snippets making it seem like she was frustrated with Jasmine popping up everywhere.

Jasmine pulled away slowly from everyone who tried to reassure her it was all lies. But Jasmine lived her life online, and she believed to much of what she read because she felt people online were just like her. She got paranoid and angry, became fueled by barrages of harassment and what she felt was the truth. Her small group of dedicated fans online became ardent about the absence of Rockstar's defense of her. Believing he purposely left her out to dry, coupled with the fact Rockstar had been unusually absent the past couple of months. She fell for the rhetoric, she'd been convinced Rockstar not only was purposely unhelpful; but maliciously so. She found Rockstar at his home, she then watched and waited as both H.N.I.C. and H.B.I.C. left. Then she live streamed as she walked into the house, accused him of sabotage and jealousy, and then murdered him on the spot.

Feeling vindicated and free, she now held no truth higher than her own. She welcomed her new status as a villain, and her new moniker, now known as Sin Diamond.

Sin Diamond feels as if she's broken a glass ceiling, as if she was being restricted and now thrives in some newfound freedom. She believes anyone who is against her is part of the problem. She is driven to this by the thoughts of others, her sycophants invigorate her way of thinking as she welcomes and feeds off of it.
