Personal history
Oliver was a smart guy who studied hard, he just wanted to take over his father's business and expand it. But his father was to stubborn to learn the new technology. Already an expert on engines and car parts, he took up programming to help with electric cars. On his way to pick up something from the shop way, he realized it'd been broken into. He found who stole and got it back, it was a lot easier than he thought it'd be. Even kind of fun, he did it occasionally a few times but he was focused on other things.
Oliver's girlfriend got pregnant at 15, and his parents paid her to leave town. Hoping it would save their sons future, she took the money and left without ever telling him what happened. While attending college he became one of the best programmers and robotic students there. His only competition was a student who didn't seem to care that much. He was just gifted, and Oliver wanted to be better than him. He even stopped the local heroics to study more. The other student mocked him, he acted like it didn't affect him but he was furious. He graduated second best in his class.
After college he begins a very successful gas to electric conversion and repair shop. Where he runs into his ex, with their daughter. After a rough period, they started coming over so he can have visits. He helped train her so she could back in shape as well. One night she comes for a random visit and finds him bloodied with his suit half off. After he recovered at a hospital and explained everything. She decided to help becoming his first sidekick, Flicker.
