Sorcerers

Sorcerers are often confused with wizards by the common folk, to the chagrin of sorcerers and wizards alike. While wizards toil away over endless scrolls and manuscripts in search of arcane knowledge, and while warlocks bargain with beings beyond their comprehension in the pursuit of power, everything tends to come naturally to sorcerers. While there's no doubt that sorcerers who actively practice their arcane talents tend to gain far better control over them, all it takes for a sorcerer to develop that talent in the first place is... be born, or Have Stuff Happen to Them. The source of a sorcerer's power can be diverse, from a touch of divinity in the bloodline to exposure to incomprehensible eldritch horrors that forever alter their understanding of themselves and the world around them. If you listen to some wizards, they lack control, and are a poor substitute for a trained caster.   Renown: 7/10
