Warlocks

Perhaps the most maligned of all spellcasters (impressive, given the destruction any caster can create), warlocks have a reputation for making unwise choices for the sake of power. This reputation isn't entirely fair, as many warlocks spend a great deal of time weighing the pros and cons of their potential deal, and some of them are fierce negotiators when it comes to what they will or won't do for their patrons. Still, you can only have so many people promise their souls to archdevils in exchange for eldritch blast before a casting class develops something of a reputation. As for those who make less wise deals... perhaps our heroes can relate to that plight than most, knowing what manner of beings one might negotiate with, once circumstances are desperate enough.   Renown: 7/10
