Red Ice
A methamphetamine-like Thin-Blood Alchemy formulae developed by George Lumm. When taken it would give someone a dot in a Discipline until dawn (if taken during night) or dusk (if taken during the day). The particular Discpline depending on the Kindred used in making the particular batch.
This could be compounded, giving a ghoul a second dot in a Discipline, even a Thin-Blood a second or third dot after feeding from a mortal with a Resonance. Or a human mortal whom had already taken Red Ice a second dot. However, gaining a second dot by taking a second dose of Red Ice is taxing on the body, and requires a Stamina + Occult roll at Difficulty 4. Else the user overdoses. Taking a third is the same roll at Difficulty 7, and the mortal is garantueed to die unless they get proffessional medical aid, such as at a hospital, before the effects of the first dose disappears. A fourth dose is at Difficulty 10, with the same risk of fatality as before. A fifth dose is also at Difficulty 10, however they are garantueed to die by the time the effects of the first dose disappear, regardless of medical intervention.
As part of their Hound duties, during Maxwell's attempt to usurp Praxis. The Roosevelt Coterie shut down George Lumm's Red Ice operations. However, it was confirmed that his formulae has been stolen, counterfitted, and said counterfits having been spread across Chicago Thin-bloods, perhaps even further.
