Leaflands

Isolated by tall mountains, treacherous seas, and a windless lake, the Leaflands have remained untouched for centuries by the races of the world. Free to flourish in the chilly northern regions of Reevnic.   Refugees from the Kalm Sands did make the dangerous journey to these lands as the Kelsh Empire began to grow in power and practice. Those who survived the journey settled in the fertile lands and have since built up their own isolationist nation within the natural barriers this land has.

Geography

The Leaflands stretch between the Cradling Range in the west to the Battered Peaks to the east and is fed by a handful of large rivers. Around these rivers, is where the three infamous Leafland forests have grown up around. The snow caked coniferous Everwood in the west, the dense evergreen trees of the Great Wood running up the middle of the region, and finally the rainbow of leaves from the Molting Wood in the far east.   The region is largely flat, with some notable hilly areas in the Great wood. The rivers flowing through the area are from the Twee Gesig Sea in the south and, because of its high mineral contents, greatly enriched the soil there. Allowing farmers to thrive and not have to worry about the soil loosing to much of its nutrients year after year.
