Arks Reopen

Construction beginning/end

At some unknown signal, the Arks reopened unto a world that had been ravaged by the Horrors. The remnants of humanity returned from hiding to find that the old world had been destroyed by the Horrors.

Only the seeds of technology and culture that they had managed to take with them were saved, but the newly released humanity fell to infighting and raiding as food grew scarce, destroying even more.

Either due to ancient genetics, long buried magical destinies, or some unknown force, metahumanity blossomed out of humanity, creating chaos and confusion.
