Benefits & Rewards

In lieu of experience or Advances, this system was created in order to encourage players to be active and involved. Players will be able to earn points, affectionately called 'Beanies', to get special rewards.
Storytellers reserve the right to deny purchases if they believe it might be game-breaking and will work with the player to find a suitable replacement purchase.
All Beanie purchases are limited as listed below, and all point spends will be worked on with your ST for it to fit into your story.
Your current balance can be found at Beanie Balance Chart.

Earning Points

Players will be able to earn Beanies by doing any of the following. The Beanies can be spent on any character. There is a cap of 3 Beanies per month for each player.
All Beanies will be granted by the storytellers at their discretion, and will be tracked similar to an experience tracker. In order to spend a Beanie, players must open a ticket to record the expense.
Players and staff may earn Beanies by:
  • Running a game or social event
  • Running a long term NPC
  • Player recommendation
  • Completing World Anvil profile (one time, overcap)
  • Writing or assisting a storyline arc
  • Creating World Anvil content
  • Catching or fixing a World Anvil mistake
  • Writing a news / gossip article
  • Inviting a Friend (3 Beanies total to both, 1 at 3, 6, and 9 months, over cap)
