The Dance of the Light
Starlight filters through the clouds around you, casting an intricate pattern of light on the ground at your feet. You are surrounded by a group of people, dancing and laughing, and you are happy...

Purpose
The Strions believe that the coming of this light is a gift to them from the star Orion. To show their thanks, they put on a festival of dance in its honour. This can last for a few hours to up to a few weeks, depending on how long the light lasts. These festivals are a key part of Strionan culture.Solo Adventurers
Sometimes, a solo adventurer will stumble across the lights unintentionally. When this happens, they tend to celebrate in a more subdued fashion. Instead of dancing and singing, they may leave a Flower Message or spend some time in quiet thought.
Strionan religion
The majority of Strions believe that the Star Orion helped calm the winds and allowed them to settle on this planet. In return, they try to show it their thanks as often as they can. However, due to the sheltered nature of their planet, this can often be difficult. Therefore, whenever they do have a chance to show their appreciation they often celebrate in an extreme and over-the-top way.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild

On a planet shrouded in darkness, this heartwarming ritual felt like a ray of hope. Beautifully done - which is the reason why I picked it for my reading challenge .
Thank you so much! I'm hoping to update this one with some art once the judging is over.
Tell me once you do - can't wait to see it.
