Kinsey Gren
Early Life
Hailing from a rural, mountainus part of Corellia, Kinsey grew up in the family business: giving speeder tours to wealthy tourists who wanted to see the famous and dangerous cliff-racers up close. Getting sick of this and yearning for adventure, he joined the Imperial service to get away from his dead-end town about 4 years ago. His mother was furious at him for doing so, and they haven't spoken since. He and his dad still exchange letters, though.Imperial Service
After being selected for stormtrooper training, his natural aptitutde for flight made him a natural for the skytroopers, the Empire's elite fast-attack jet pack troopers. He participated in the Scourging of Apalon-V, and was decorated for bravery for rescuing several injured squadmates. His squad, the Helljumpers, then led by Sgt. Waryn Demol, were assigned to the Scylla halfway through the mission, as part of one of the few reinforcements Captain Arcas has been granted. The Captain then proceeded to send these elite, fresh troops on mission after mission until fatigue and a pirate ambush wiped out most of the squad. Then-corporal Gren was promoted to Sergeant, and the only other survivor-- Pvt. Sara Thule-- is undergoing long-term treatment for a shattered spine.
A former Skytrooper, promoted to be a squad leader after most of his unit died. An experienced trooper with an eye for talent, he has a particular hatred for slavers.
