Aahli
Aahli is the capital of the Zelvan Council, it is a major transit point for the internal trade of the Zelvan Council by being an obligatory point of passage between the north and the south. The home world of the zelvans also has a slightly different atmosphere compared to Earth. The fact that the planet is almost entirely covered with desert on these submerged lands has led to an atmosphere poorer in oxygen and richer in carbon dioxide.
Demographics
The biggest city on the planet is Nazea with the rest of the population who is fully zelvan is concentrated in many cities of different size all around the planet. These are around the big fresh water lakes of the planet to avoid the suffocating heat of the deserts and take advantage of the humidity brought by the lakes. The diplomatic personnel belonging to other species from other states in the galaxy are present in Goz's orbit with the embassies being there.
Government
Aahli is the capital of the region with the governor and his government sit in Xynnar as well as the parliament of the system too. It is the parliament that approves the decisions of the governor and his government, including laws, budgets and the appointment of members of the government. The city of Nazea hosts all federal government's institutions such as the High Council, the General Assembly or the High Court of Justice.
Defences
Aahli has an Orbital Defense System (ODS) like all zelvans planets which is made up of several orbital cannons used to support Council Navy vessels in the event of an attack. The planet also has many military bases in orbit around the planet which serve as an anchor point for many Council Navy's vessels.
Industry & Trade
Aahli is a major production center for the zelvan military fleet as well as for the production of civilian vessels with the research and high technology being also an important sector. The industry for civilian consumption has a share in the wealth of the planet, but this is less important than naval production. Aahli is in addition a major commercial hub because of it's location on a trade route which connects the north and the south of the Zelvan Council.
Infrastructure
Zelvans use a vast train network as well as boats on huge lakes to travel the planet and also has six spaceports with the largest being in Nazea. The same numbers of orbital stations are present in orbit to accommodate vessels too heavy to land on the planet. A military base for the Council Navy is in orbit being used as an important shipyard for part of the zelvan fleets. A host of military bases on the surface also host planetary defense forces.
Architecture
The magnificent architecture of the zelvan cities is made up of large structures who often place their artistic forms at the center of their design. Their worlds of origin being also subjected to strong winds coming from the deserts of the planet, the zelvans had therefore developed an architecture which used only very rounded forms.
Geography
Aahli has a very mountainous relief with several mountain ranges except around the large lakes where the plains take the top. The large lakes are extremely anchored in the zelvan culture and covers a good part of the surface of Aahli. The rest of the landscape is made up of immense deserts of orange sands specific to Aahli giving it that orange hue from space
Natural Resources
The planet is very rich in resources, particularly in precious metals such as gold, silver and many otherswhich are used in the making of the many jewels as well as artisanal pieces which have become emblematic of the zelvans culture. However, the planet is poor in fertile land, which has prompted the zelvans to develop irrigation methods that are much more effective than humans. Today the zelvans use the greenhouse technique a lot for their food supply.
