Farlia

Farlia was a planet that was independent of the Galactic Coalition  and was home to the Farlian people and culture.
  The planet was destroyed some 350 years ago due to a massive disaster, and its people the Farlians only survived in small groups that were off the planet for some reason or another when the planet was destroyed. Farlian Culture became more nomadic after the planet's destruction and the survivors' dispersal. Since its destruction, the Farlian people have mostly claimed asylum in Coalition space and have received coalition citizenship.
  The Farlians people were not known to the Galactic Coalition until after their planet's destruction and the survivors started to migrate into Coalition space.

Star System

Farlia was one of five planets in a single-planet star system. The planet also had two moons in its orbit.
  The planet was destroyed some 350 years ago, possibly due to a meteor strike that destroyed the planet before it could be deflected.

Ecosystem & Geography

The planet was home to many different biomes and ecological regions that were in turn home to millions of species and organisms. Very few of these species survived the destruction of the planet, with most of them surviving in endangered and inbreed groups or having been mixed with other species to produce healthier offspring.

Population

Farlia is believed to be populated only by Farlians, but nowadays due to the Farlian diaspora, they have contact and relations with many other species and cultures.

Infrastructure

The specific infrastructure is unknown but the infrastructure and technology of the planet were good enough to utilize space travel which allowed survivors to leave.
