The Hargellish Plain
The Hargellish Plain is a region comprised of the territories controlled by Hargel. Most of the Hargellish plain consists of dry flatlands broken up every so often by arid steppes. Finally, to the east, the land begins to fold into hills and then sea-lashed granite cliffs along Hargel's east coast.

Flora
The Hargellish plain is mostly dominated by tall, herbacerous grasses and wildflowers. A few shrubs—like the bluebeard bush—and trees—such as dogwoods and Hargellish elms—also call the Heartland home. Alchemists and apothecaries note the presence of gumweed, carpenter's herb, yarrow, and mugwort—which have healing properties—and blackroot, foxglove, and snakewood—which are poisonous.Fauna
A number of species call the Hargellish Plain home. Major predators include cockatrices, coyotes, wolves, dire wolves, and saber-toothed leopards—who are undoubtedly the apex predators in the region. These prey primarily on the large unglates that roam the plains—including gazelles, Hargellish deer, and wild horses.Other animals that call the Hargellish Plains home include birds like hawks, falcons, buzzards, cranes, and owls; small mammals like gerbils and muskrats; and reptiles like wall lizards, rattlesnakes, and vipers.
