I don’t usually write things down for other people.
I was raised around things most people prefer to keep at a distance. Not because they were dangerous, but because they resisted easy explanation. When you grow up that way, you learn early that certainty is often louder than accuracy, and that attention matters more than belief.
Most of what I’ve carried was never meant to be preserved—only remembered well enough to stay honest. But occasionally, circumstances change. Not because the truth grows heavier, but because it becomes easier to set it down than to keep adjusting around it.
This isn’t a confession, and it isn’t a request. Think of it as a journal left open on the table. You’re welcome to read what’s here, to sit with it for a while, or to leave it where you found it. I don’t expect agreement, belief, or action. Attention is enough.
