Originally from the plane of Ravnica, Yor was not much more than a lawyer with high hopes and aspirations of bringing evil-doers to justice. When a realm-hopping space ship crashed onto the realm however they found themselves becoming the assistant to the unusual squad and becoming quite good friends with them. So much so that when their space ship was fixed and they left the plane, she would go with them to journey amongst the stars.
As a powerful mage she had provided more than a little help, but at the end of all things she went missing at the same time as Shade and Co.
