Shadowline Sea

The Shadowline Sea is a vast, eerie expanse of water that lies at the edge of perpetual twilight. Its location marks the delicate boundary between the blazing heat of the sunlit hemisphere and the frigid darkness of the shadowed side. Connected to the Shadowline Sea in the south lies the Frostveil Expanse—a massive mountain range.

A permanent thick raincloud cover called Ablisca marks the boundary between sea and mountain range. The Shadowline Sea is known for its stark contrasts—warm currents from the sunlit side collide with the icy waters of the shadow side, creating unpredictable storms and currents.

The sea is rich in unique ecosystems, with bioluminescent creatures thriving in its dark depths. Navigation is treacherous, as shifting temperatures, unpredictable currents, and changing light levels on different section of the sea can disorient even the most experienced sailors.
