Frequency Fae
Frequency Fae
A sonic oathcircle anchored in the echo chamber behind the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Nestled behind a satellite radio station on the upper floors of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Frequency Fae is a thriving, musically infused Freehold and oathcircle whose broadcasts help knit together the dreaming soul of Greater Cleveland. Equal parts avant-garde art collective, underground intelligence hub, and Glamour-fueled performance house, Frequency Fae maintains The Echo Chamber, a glamoured studio-lounge of prismatic sound, enchanted mics, and radiant beats.
They’re known not just for the magical resonance of their space, but for their role as cultural stewards and subtle instigators—keeping Glamour flowing through street poetry, late-night broadcasts, and occasional coded messages disguised as songs.
Their membership includes:
Remy Nightingale (aka DJ Reverie, Satyr)
Role: Host, Lead Curator of Vibe, Glamour Conductor
- Known for his velvet-slick voice and razor-sharp insight, DJ Reverie’s on-air presence has smoothed more inter-Kith disputes than most local dukes.
- Fun Fact: It’s rumored his voice can calm chimerical storms—and has at least once confused a Balor into a public apology.
Hazel Copperwire (Boggan)
Role: Sound Engineer, Ritual Harmonist, Hospitality Maven
- The glue of the Echo Chamber. Hazel’s touch makes every set clean, every circuit purr, and every artist feel at home. She brews enchanted tea that allegedly remembers your first heartbreak.
- Fun Fact: She once convinced a redcap to try knitting, which reportedly ended in a spontaneous Glamour surge and the creation of a sentient scarf named Marvin.
Knox Grimsby (Redcap)
Role: Security Chief, Grounding Stone, Vibe Bouncer
- Knox watches the doors—and the energies—with a protective scowl and unmatched intuition. He’s been known to gently escort Unseelie nobles out with a single raised eyebrow.
- Fun Fact: He once body-slammed a chimera made of bad reviews and stage fright. Twice.
Sylvaine Drear (Sluagh)
Role: Archivist of Echoes, Keeper of B-Sides, Whisperer-in-Residence
- The quiet soul of the Echo Chamber. Sylvaine collects rare recordings, obscure interviews, and forgotten songs of Cleveland’s Dreaming. She can pull a song from the air like a ghost from memory.
- Fun Fact: No one has ever heard her sneeze, and she claims her shadow is older than the Rock Hall itself.
Finch Wilder (Pooka)
Role: Promoter, Hype Specialist, Misinfo Aficionado
- Finch's charm is borderline weaponized. He generates attention (and Glamour) through bombastic storytelling, charming exaggeration, and posters that glow slightly in the dark.
- Fun Fact: Once falsely promoted a “Battle of the Bands Against Banality” so successfully that it happened anyway—and was won by a chimerical raccoon with a keytar.
Addendum: “Uncle Vin” (Kinain)
Role: Intern (self-proclaimed), assistant to Finch, reluctant audio tech, on-air sidekick
- Officially unpaid. Unofficially adored. Known for his comic timing, deep sighs, and increasingly detailed journal of “unreasonable satyr requests.”
- Fun Fact: He’s the only mortal to ever receive a standing ovation from a glamoured microphone (for a one-liner during a live broadcast).
Frequency Fae continues to be one of the most accessible and well-loved fixtures in Forest City County—equal parts radio rebellion, urban oracle, and fae family. They say if you tune in at the right time, on the right wavelength, the Echo Chamber will play a song meant only for you.
