Pura is the daughter of a temple guard of Sacred Flower and a Water Woman from the streets of the city.
Her red hair was considered a mark of the Scarlet Ice Cats of her special powers. She was delivered from the Ice Cats and then placed as a Scarlet Flower in the Temple of the Sacred Flower where she was then kidnapped eventually by the man with the dark wolf cloak.
She is brought to his tent in Northern Azure where she is when Kilvan and his band of raiders come upon the village to raid it.
Kilvan finds her dying of the poison that her shoe has injected into her when she was torn away from the Scarlet Altar. Kilvan helps nurse her back to health.
Kilvan himself is suffering from withdrawal from the red powder drug that is used to control the raiders of the Battle School of Rouge.
Pura nurses him back to health as well on the way.
Pura has a powerful poison that she carries in a medallion around her neck and she uses it to kill the giant wolf that they encounter on the way.
The Reindeer Tribe meet them on the way and are grateful for them kiling the wolf and give them some gifts.
With the help of the sled and gifts that they get, they make their way to the Valley of the Alpha Wolf where Kilvan and Pura settle down.
Eventually they have Buri.
Pura is married to Kilvan.
Their son is Buri.
Buri is married to Lalai.
Their daughter is Suri.
