Petrak is the son of Rakta aka Gumu and his first wife who was killed in battle. Her name was JInsu.
Gumu saves a woman named Lucia who is pregnant with Sheena.
Gumu is what Lucia calls him and Lady Korleva is what he calls her.
So Rakta becomes Gumu and Lucia becomes lady Korleva. Sheena is born to Lady Korleva though her father is Adam she never sees him and only knows Gumu as father. Petrak adopts Korleva as his mother as his other mother is dead.
Petrak’s father (Rakta nick-named Gumu after the skins of the animal that he wore as armor sewn into his garments by his wife. Lady Korleva is Petrak’s mother her pet name for him is Gulu. Petrak's nickname for his mother is Korli.
