Warp Field Generator

A warp field generator can be used in Second Space to fold space around a ship amplifying the vessel's movement speed without increasing the power used by the engines. WFGs work in concert with conventional engines such as Force Drives or Cruise Engines. The rating of the field generator is based on the extent to which it can fold space.

Warp I: Engine speed x 1.5
Warp II: Engine speed x 2.3
Warp III: Engine speed x 3.4
Warp IV: Engine speed x 5
Warp V: Engine speed x 7.6
Warp VI: Engine speed x 11.4 (limit for Erkasian and Rekati ships)
Warp VII: Engine speed x 17 (limit for Aggosian ships)
Warp VIII: Engine speed x 25.6 (only possible within the Aggosian Waygate)
