Overlook Harbor
Nestled at the edge of the southeastern Lowland Plains, just south of the scorched deserts known as the Savage Lands, lies the weathered port town of Overlook Harbor—a fading echo of Regalia’s maritime past. Once a bustling coastal hub filled with merchants, fishermen, and explorers, Overlook thrived in the days before the Tempest Ring choked off the sea routes and cloaked the continent in isolation. Where clanging bells and shouting traders once filled the salt-heavy air, now only gulls cry above quiet, barnacle-bitten docks.
Today, Overlook Harbor serves as a lonely pit-stop for the rare southern sailor brave enough to challenge the storm-ridden seas. Its population is sparse, made up of hardened fisherfolk, retired sailors, and those who seek solitude—or obscurity. Some desert nomads still trade here, exchanging spices, bone trinkets, or rare desert fruits for tools or preserved goods, but the economy limps along more out of habit than hope.
The town is governed by the reclusive Alderman Ritter, a once-proud noble whose family lineage ties to old merchant fortunes. Ritter maintains order with a weary kind of grace, keeping tradition alive in a place where few still care for it.

Points of interest
The Overlook Knoll
A windswept rise on the northern cliffside, the Knoll serves as the town’s cemetery. Moss-covered gravestones lean under decades of salt and wind, and the burial ground is now tended almost solely by Sharallan, a soft-spoken and unusually serene elven caretaker who has made this place his sanctuary. Locals say Sharallan knows every name etched in the stones—and sometimes speaks with them at night.
The Ashen Grove Once a manicured public garden bursting with color and imported flora, the Ashen Grove now lies in ruin. Withered hedges and dry fountain basins surround a cracked marble statue of Leyon Runeshire, standing with sword planted and gaze cast seaward. Children once played here; now, it’s mostly visited by silence and wind. Some whisper that the Grove died when Ezodwyn did.
Ezodwyn A few days' travel inland to the north lies the ruins of Ezodwyn, once a shimmering oasis town that thrived on desert trade. However, years ago, it was struck by a mysterious and unholy plague, one that defied healing magic and turned the sick into twisted parodies of life. Rumors claim lepers and mad wanderers still haunt its crumbling walls, and no caravans pass that way now. Ezodwyn remains a black stain on the southern trade routes—spoken of only in hushed tones or cautionary tales.
