Elmar Barthen
Elmar Barthen is the hardworking merchant and the owner of Barthen’s Provisions, the largest general store in Cloudheath. A pragmatic and honest businessman, he supplies adventurers, miners, and townsfolk with essential goods—from rations and rope to mining equipment and weapons.
In 1241 EG, during an attack on Cloudheath, a number of The Mardu Clan fired arrows into the town piercing Elmar, luckily the Crimson Eclipse came to the rescue, keeping the town's oldest provisioner alive and well.
Barthen's Provisions
The largest and most well-stocked trading post in Cloudheath, Barthen’s Provisions is a bustling hub for adventurers, miners, and locals alike. Owned by the pragmatic merchant Elmar Barthen, this general store supplies everything from trail rations and mining picks to weapons, rope, and mundane adventuring gear. The shop’s creaky wooden sign—bearing a barrel and crossed tools—swings above its door, inviting travelers inside.
Ander, although not related, works for Elmar Barthen, and would mostly load and unload wagons full of goods with fellow clerk, Thistle. When Elmar was not in the trading post, the clerks would meet the needs of the traders and potential customers.
