Draco's Heel

Draco's Heel is an ancient, abandoned Aarakocra barracks, believed by Arcanist Javero Carthilion to house a vast, powerful stockpile of weapons that once secured a pivotal victory for the Aarakocra.   Despite its strategic importance, Draco's Heel is notoriously dangerous. Previous expeditions sent by Duke Richard Runeshire to retrieve its armaments have met with disaster, with only one survivor returning to recount tales of a haunted barracks and attacks by Duergars. The entrance is protected by intricate etchings, initially mistaken for arcane symbols but later identified by Javero as Auran, the ancient, magically-charged language of the Aarakocra, which even his formidable spells cannot decipher. This suggested that Draco's Heel is not merely an abandoned armory, but a fortress protected by unique, powerful, and potentially deadly Aarakocra magic.   In 1242 EG, the Crimson Eclipse overtook Draco's Heel and retrieved the Blood Moon weapons. It was being protected by the Purger.
