Elesas

The city of Elesas is the capital and seat of power of the young nation of Krussar. It previously formed the centre of one of the three city states that now comprise Krussar and it is where the half-orc warlord Krussar staged his coup. Because of the significance of these events, Krussar turned the council chambers of Elesas into his own seat of power, sending a powerful signal to any who would support the old regime. One of the focal points of the city, the Beshon academy of magic, has also been much reduced since Krussar took over. Previously one of the main insitutions for conjuration magic, most study has now been suspended and the academy only serves to teach those born with magical abilities how to responsibly develop their talents on the state's leash. The city also houses the headquarters of the Steel Fist mercenaries, who have become the nation's guardforce and military. Several homes of former diginitaries or supporters of the old regime have been confiscated and turned into an officer's academy for the mercenaries. The city itself is remarkably clean and orderly, which is enforced by a large presence of Steel Fists patrolling the streets.
