History

After the founding of Ultribar, the one named Ori found his forces to be too weak to fight off the forces of nature that prevented the early Ultrians from keeping steady for very long. He decided to group up with the early people who would one day found Medley, Stratum, Old Lowry, and Duskview. They banded together to fight off the shadows and other undead that had remained on the Material Plane after Gregor was locked away in a pocket dimension. The Tribune organized a strike on the several pockets of undead and destroyed them once and for all. After this, the Tribune brought the continent into a peaceful period where magic fluorished in the central area of the colony.   This changes as time went on, specifically when magic wielders such as Powell appeared, seeking to bring back the age of Gregor and rid the world of the rigidity of structure and government. After this, the dawn of adventurers came as well as the worship of Ignis and his army the Gauntlet. The Queen of Ultribar at the time, Petal, did not like the shift in power dynamic and decided that the Tribune would need to find a way to gain power again. They began strongarming settlements to join using paid merceneries that would then stage a fight with the guards of the Tribune. They would then use their power to secure the treasures and artifacts of the Scorchlands in order to hold power over the Gauntlet.
