The overuse of demonic energy tore a rift in the face of reality, summoning a mighty balor by the name of Uulichetz. This balor ushered his hordes through the new gate and directly into the Kolichev heartlands.

The presence of demons in the Primaterial Plane spread exponentially as the demons sacked the capital of the Kolichev Empire, tearing more rifts and sweeping through the civilization. In an attempt to save themselves, the nation’s neighbors banded together to fight the demonic menace, but were unable to staunch the endless flow of demons out of the Abyss. The alliance fell apart, and Uulichetz’s hordes destroyed them one by one, attacking with such speed and unrelenting rage that the nations had no time to prepare. The demons could constantly pull more troops from the Abyss, but this withdrawal attracted the attention of two forces: the archdevils and the angels.   The Primaterial became a four-way bloodbath, with devils fighting demons, humans fighting devils, and celestials slaying anything they dubbed ‘wicked,’ fiends and humans alike.
