Krysaalis is a shandaryn of elowyn heritage but was raised among Vesprians. It is her desire to discover who she is and where she came from that sets into motion many of the events that take place. She is an elowyn refugee from the Battle of Ciermanuinn. Her mother’s connections with the royal family placed her as a ward of the royal family as her parents were never found and presumed dead.
