Districts
Because of the city's influx of communities from various cultural backgrounds, the city is divided into respective districts.
In its oldest districts reside decendants of the founding Kipsani.
Architecture
Because of the soft, saturated soil, building solid infrastructure is difficult. Without trees or wood in the area, the people resort to structures made of reeds tied together. Their structures are built above the marsh by at least a meter to accomodate for the tide, with bridges connecting various buildings. The structures can't be very heavy since the soaked ground isn't very stable, so heavy goods are stored in canoes and tied to stable strucutre, placing their weight on the water. For this same reason, all structures are only one-story tall.
Climate
Siloni rests on the delta and near the estuary of the Ksai River, providing it with an abundance of natural wildlife and resources from plants and animals. This makes the area also very vulnerable to oceanic storms, flooding, and tsunamis. The wet soil is generally saturated, making structures even less stable.
