Rothneir Au'Brazed

It was written by the person who made this character and all character ideas and thoughts belong to them.*   Rothneir Au'Brazed is a 26 year old male human, divine soul socerer. He has dark hair, olive tone skin and bright golden eyes, standing at 5'6", 140lbs. He is the only son of Geralt and Somma Au'Brazed. The Au'Brazed family are all tinkerers and inventers, and are merchants by trade. The Au'Brazed family is well known as skilled artificers, particularly within the merchants guild. The Au'Brazed family moved to this area 4 generations ago seeking opportunity in the city, and are fiercely loyal to the government due to its laws and structure allowing their business to thrive, and become moderately wealthy. Rothneir was raised with these ideals and led a fairly unnoteworthy life. Lamaro, Rothneir's great grandfather, was a decorated cannoneer in the army, who Rothneir has idolized, which lead him to join the Civilian Municipal Patrol, a junior faction of the military, at 14. Shortly after his 16th birthday, Rothneir was helping repair a piece of farm equipment at his family's workshop, but he was unable to fix it. Worried he would disappoint the family that was relying on his handy work, he became upset and tried frantically to adjust the attunement crystal. However as he was wrenching the machine around, somewhere inside him an energy sprung to life and an arc of arcane magic jumped from his hand to the crystal, causing the machine to overload, and explode. The explosion embedded tiny shards of the attuning crystal in his skin, and left his hands and lower forearms disfigured, but still functional. The skin that was damaged was now a sickly red/purple color streaking up away from his hands, with the skin pulled tight around the muscle and bone. His parents, recognizing the raw magic they had whitnessed, brought him to his handler at the CMP, and they took a great interest in helping him train his new found arcane powers. When he turned 18 Rothneir was immediately drafted into the formal military based on his abilities and time with the CMP, and has been faithfully serving his country since.     Rothneir's arcane magic was embued by the divine intervention of Erathis, Goddess of civilization, but he is unaware of this.   Edited by mrnohairnocares.
