Gupogis Turgido

Note: This is a former player who has retired their character as an NPC; see Retirement

Joyless smiles in the smoky din of caravan tents.
Hushed threats traded in the lightless quiet of back alleys.
Barking barter in the perfumed air of market squares.
These are the images that come to mind when greeted by the visage of Gupogis Turgido. A stunted loaf of a creature beleaguered by a great belly and wreathed in the scales of mossy green, this is no fine specimen of any species. The snake's smile and shark's eyes that peek out from layer upon layer of cloth speak of the primordial pits of Primus from which this creature may well have sprung, but where it has since been seems far less mysterious. Anyone who has ever spent time in the great trade cities of Avalon or the expansive night markets of Orpheus would recognise a merchant's heartless grin and calculating stare anywhere, and all such hallmarks are plastered purposefully on Gupogis.

After talking Boost out of 100 gold of the party's money, Gupogis seems to have drifted away from the rest of the group after the commotion at Brimstone Hollow - later to be seen gambling at Salda's Saloon (with the party's money, no doubt). The party returns a couple days later to see no trace of the scaly beast in all of Brimstone - its not looking likely they'll get their coin back from him any time soon ...
