Erased

Within the grounds of the material universe, the natural cycle is for beings to be born and to die, ultimately their essence and matter making it's way to the end of time. At the boundary between the Universe and Nowhere, this essence fades to nothing as reality bleeds out. The only way indentities can be saved is if the King of Nothing claims the essence and turns it to hour glass, insulating it against the end of time and the oblivion of Nowhere. If a mortal being however uses Eschamancy beyond their limits, the fuel will be the very essence of them, erasing it from reality to actuate the magic. If the essence of a being is devoured by eschamancy, they are irrecoverably erased, making their death total and final.
