Zero / The King of Nothing
The pale, fated inheritor of dying creation, Zero sits alone on his throne of glass in Nowhere at the end of time, watching the essence of creation fade to the cruel entropy of Time's tyranny. He is the anathema to Time, unbound to the material universe, his power beyond it is total, though when he ventures across the horizon into the material, he is diminished, mortal. Unlike other beings however, Zero cannot truly die, seeing as his essence will simply bleed out at the end of time and remanifest in Nowhere. As Time has yet been unable to overcome Zero in Nowhere, and Zero cannot overpower Time in the material universe, their bitter feud has long been in a complete stalemate, only leaving a long, bloody trail of grief and collateral victims in their War on High.
