Western Txori
"The Txori are a fascinating race of bird-folk, divided into two distinct sub-races: the Western Txori and the Eastern Avali. These two groups have diverged so significantly over time that they no longer see themselves as the same race. The Western Txori, often simply referred to as Txori, are known for their isolationist tendencies and their unique lifestyle as magi nomads. They utilize their wings to inhabit mountain peaks and monastery cities, locations that are typically inaccessible to most other races without aid. In contrast, the Eastern Txori, or Avali, are raptor-like birds living in tribes, deeply connected to the land and worshiping their own pantheon of deities. These Eastern Avali thrive in the savanna-like biomes and dense jungles of Ahangen, where they glide gracefully from tree to tree. Both sub-races, though distinct, offer a rich tapestry of culture and tradition that adds to the vibrant diversity of the Animali." - Prof. Elandra Silverfur

The growth of young Txori is significantly slower compared to other races. It takes them 35 years to attain the size and development equivalent to a 10-year-old human, and they reach adulthood at 140. Despite their slow growth, Txori has an impressive lifespan; some live around 1,200 years.
Civilization and Culture
Culture and Cultural Heritage
"Western Txori, the enigmatic bird-folk, make their homes in the secluded peaks of mountains and within dense, hidden forests where they have built monastery cities. Renowned for their profound knowledge of the arcane, they are highly revered as scholars, mages, and teachers. Their libraries are treasures of magical lore and wisdom. Western Txori society is a mageocracy, governed by the most skilled and knowledgeable mages who guide their communities with wisdom and arcane insight. They prefer their settlements to remain isolated high in the mountains, nurturing their culture and knowledge away from the prying eyes of the world. This isolationist tendency means they rarely trade with other races on a large scale, preserving the sanctity and purity of their arcane traditions." - Prof. Elandra Silverfur
Txories tend to adhere to their cultural traditions, social norms, and personal principles over any particular agenda. They value order and structure and tend to adhere to a strict code of conduct in their interactions with others.
