Animali
Basic Information
Biological Traits
Animali are anthropomorphic animals that exhibit a Humanoid figure while standing on two legs, while closely resembling their animal counterparts in both biological and physical traits.
"Ah, the delightful variety of the Animali! One of the first things that struck me was their remarkable range in height. Picture this: the sprightly Kitsune, darting about with their clever eyes and bushy tails, rarely stand taller than 5 feet. Contrast this with the imposing Bear-folk, whose presence fills a room as they easily reach up to 6 feet tall. This fascinating range means that within any given community, you might find yourself looking down to chat with a quick-witted fox-folk, and moments later, craning your neck to address a towering, gentle giant of the Bear-folk. This diversity is more than just physical. It reflects the rich tapestry of their culture, where each height and build has evolved to suit their unique lifestyles and environments. From the bustling markets to the quiet forest paths, the variety of Animali sizes contributes to their society's vibrancy and adaptability. It’s one of the many reasons why studying the Animali never ceases to be an adventure in itself."
Growth Rate & Stages
Animalies don't live as long as most races, even humans. Animali matures at fourteen; despite this quick early growth, their lifespan extends naturally up to around sixty-five years.
Civilization and Culture
Culture and Cultural Heritage
Unlike what the common folk of Reagan would believe, the Animali is not simply a single unified culture, but rather thousands of communities all with their own traditions, customs, and beliefs. Some share the same or similar traditions, customs, and beliefs, but not all Animali revere the same concepts, Wolf-folk value Strength, loyalty, and Isolation, while Kitsunes value cunning, agility, and charm. Often these differences can be cause by something as simple as their biology or as complex as history, varying interpretations of their shared beliefs, or even geography. Animali often find safety in others hands, even when the cultures couldn't be more diffrent, Because they are grouped into one, and their cultural differences rarely matter to the common man, they will band together, often making new cultures down the line. But like any Culture there is still conflict, however most of the time it's not by blood and iorn but rather intruge and rumors. This diversity gives Animali culture its richness and complexity, making it a fascinating subject of study for those who seek to understand it. And to others, they see all Animali as one people.
