Location: South central Centakus

Geography: The land of U'lunn, situated on the south-central coast of Centakus, boasts a unique and captivating geography that has evolved dramatically since the onset of the Great Cataclysm. Situated in a rainforest, the land is covered with lush tropical trees and plants.

The region's modern landscape bears witness to the relentless power of rainfall, with deeply eroded former desert terrain now dominated by intricate networks of steep slot canyons and high escarpments hosting magnificent waterfalls.

Among the unusual aspects of U'lunn are its rivers, with their broad sediment choked floodplains. In these areas, sediment often accumulates faster than plants can grow, burying the plants. Thunderous rains in the uplands produce abrupt, unpredictable floods, that cascade downstream with swift waves of water sweeping through the valleys, making travel through these areas hazardous.

Climate: Prior to the cataclysm, the region was divided between an arid tropical desert in the north and a tropical scrubland in the south. The desert area was full of blowing sand and barren rocky hills. Just south of the desert there was a narrow transition of land where rainfall was more frequent, filled with hardy drought tolerant vegetation. However, the Great Cataclysm triggered a radical transformation in the weather patterns of this land, shifting rain bands farther northward and transforming U'lunn into a lush tropical rainforest with over 180 inches of annual rainfall. The relentlessly stifling temperature of U’lunn, combined with very high humidity makes life difficult for any creatures that are not adapted to these conditions. The pattern of precipitation is characterized by distinct wet and dry seasons.

Wildlife: The rainforest is home to a large number of brilliantly colored birds, including toucans and parrots. Monkeys live in the trees, while jaguars and giant anacondas silently hunt their prey on the forest floor. The jungle also host large numbers of exotic insects.

Humanoids: Humans do not live in this area but U'lunn is home to the Nagaji, a race of snake-like humanoids with scaled skin, who were once human prior to being corrupted by chaos storms. They often live in old ruins that predate the Great Cataclysm.

Monsters: U'lunn's wildlife is a living relic of a long-forgotten era of another age. Immense herbivorous dinosaurs with tremendous, long necks, capable of feeding on the treetops. Giant ruthless predators with razor-sharp teeth crash through the forest in search of their next meal making travel in these lands extremely hazardous The jungles of U’lunn are a sanctuary for these ancient creatures who are never found outside of the vast rainforest of southern Centakus.

History: Prior to the Great Cataclysm, U’lunn was inhabited by desert tribes who pledged their allegiance to the Movorian Empire. Ruins of their small towns still lay hidden within the impenetrable jungle.

During the Great Cataclysm, U'lunn was spared the ravages of chaos storms, and its dense jungle absorbed the seismic tremors with limited lasting damage. However, large coastal areas precipitously submerged. At the same time the weather drastically changed. What had once been arid desert suddenly disappeared as massive rainstorms began to fall. This caused great changes to what had once been a windswept desert. With few plant to protect the soil, massive erosion occured leaving U'lunn a land of steep gullies. Over time, vegetation from the adjactent lands of To'unga and the Selvurian Jungle migrated into this changed land.

Today: U'lunn, a land both enigmatic and perilous stands as a lost reminder of the tremendous changes wrought by the Great Cataclysm. In its jungles, trace reminders of its desert past can still be seen.
