Climate: The climate varies, with much dryer conditions to the east in the rain shadow of the Andunoros Range and increased rainfall towards the west as the land ascends to meet the towering Kheleckoros Mountains. With winters bringing frequent snowfall, the landscape transforms into a serene white panorama. The heaviest snowfalls occur near the sea and in the high foothills leading to the Kheleckoros Mountains. The winters are brutally cold and once snowfall begins it rarely gets above freezing. Great winter storms frequently roar through the land making life difficult for those who chose to stay. As spring unfolds, the land bursts into a kaleidoscope of wildflowers, adorning open meadows with vibrant hues. Summers are mild and pleasant with the nights still cool. By autumn the land becomes quieter with much of the wildlife migrating southward into the forest of Tauralam.

Wildlife: The dominant spruce and fir trees create a protective canopy, sheltering the land from harsh winds. The forest teems with diverse wildlife, including migrating elk, dire bears, winter wolves, lynx, snow eagles, and snow owls. A small number of saber toothed tigers still prowl this land, holdovers from a past age. There are also small herds of wooly mammoths. Pristine streams harbor trout and salmon, forming a delicate balance of predators and prey adapted to the unforgiving climate.

Humanoids: No humanoids live in this land year-round. However, small bands of Valtauri elves from Tauralam often venture northward into the forest of Liagrov during the summer months. Some of them return each year to the same dwellings that they have built in the trees of the forest. They live light upon the land and leave little lasting impact. As the weather cools in the autumn, they walk south back to their winter homes in Tauralam.

Monsters: The forest is a great wilderness. Many large and dangerous creatures exist such as winter worgs and dire bears.

History: Despite the Great Cataclysm, the Liagrov Forest emerged relatively unscathed. While great earthquakes were felt in this area, no lasting damage was done. The abrupt warming brought about by the cataclysm allowed spruce and fir trees to expand northward, transforming once icy regions into the lush greenery that persists today. Amidst a changing world, the Liagrov Forest stands as a testament to the resilience of its unique flora and fauna, a haven of natural beauty in Aorlan's

Today: The Liagrov Forest is a large area of wilderness where humanoids have had almost no impact.
