Climate: The land of Dzun’uria lies within a tropical rainforest that experiences a steamy hot climate throughout the year, with distinct wet and dry seasons. During the wet season, frequent heavy thunderstorms sweep over the land, while during the dry season precipitation is more sporadic with lighter storms. The land is also prone to the occasional wrath of strong hurricanes, unleashing torrents of rain, along with widespread damage from powerful winds. This hazard abates during the dry season, although intermittent rainfall, is normally sufficient to sustain the forest.

Wildlife: The tropical rainforest of Dzun’uria is a vibrant and biodiverse ecosystem, teeming with a plethora of ancient plant and animal species. The creatures of Dzun'uria, holdovers from the Second Age of Raios are found only in the southern rainforests of Raios and nowhere else. The great apex predators include the ever dangerous Allosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Giganotosaurus, and Tyrannosaurus, who all have mouths filled with large sharp teeth. Smaller predators include Deinonychus, Dimetrodon, Megaraptor, Troodon, and Velociraptor. These creatures are smaller but no less dangerous than the apex predators. Extremely large herbivores, some of which graze treetops, include Amargasaurus, Brachiosaurus, Brontosaurus, Compsognathus, Diplodocus, Iguanodon, and Parasaurolophus. The most common flying creature is Quetzalcoatlus with an impressive 40 foot wingspan. Areas of freshwater are home to the great predator Spinosaurus with its unique sail-like structure on its back. In coastal waters there is still tremendous danger as there are quite a few great predators that are large enough to attack ships. These include Elasmosaurus, Kronosaurus, Nothosaur, Plesiosaurus, and Tylosaurus.

Humanoids: Few humanoid inhabitants remain in Dzun’uria today. Along the coast, hidden in small coves far from the sight of sailing ships, lie a few scattered Veng villages. These hidden isolated havens are used by Veng pirates as a place of rest, free from the watchful, ever-vigilant eyes of the Valmyrrian Imperial Navy.

Monsters: With the land filled with a plethora of very dangerous wildlife, few monsters are encountered in these lands.

History: This land experienced tremendous changes during the Great Cataclysm. Vast areas of low-lying land suddenly sank beneath sea level, leaving only the highland regions above water. Tremendous earthquakes shook the land, frightening the inhabitants but causing little damage due to its sparse population. Following the earthquakes, great tsunamis struck Dzun’uria's coastline, sweeping away any low-lying areas that were not already submerged. With most of the population living in coastal villages, this effectively eliminated almost all of the human population of this land.

Today: In this land, nature reigns supreme, and the wilderness claims dominion over civilization. The dense and treacherous rainforest serves as a natural barrier, protecting the few isolated communities of Veng along the coast from unwanted intrusions. Yet, for those who dare to venture deeper into Dzun’uria, they must confront not only the wild landscape but also the formidable creatures that dwell within, making it a land of beauty and peril intertwined.
