Ashborne
One of the first settlements reestablished after The Rending. Ashborne is built on top of the ruins of itself which has led to a rather robust black market operating under the surface called The Ashes. Many of the citizens in town work in agriculture; cultivating and harvesting unique plants that grow in the low-lying areas on the banks of the River Kirming. Mainly different types of rice and a regionally specific fruit known as wispberries. They are known for their annual Wispberry Festival in the fall. They also have strong lumber and trading industries. At the time of the last census, Ashborne had a population of 17,593.
