BEACONSPIRE

BeaconSpire is a village in a little bubble at the edge (or maybe the center) of Everything.   The BeaconSpire refers to the steeple on the Spriory (also called "The Great Spire"), which was the first building in the village. This small outpost of spiritual-types attracted followers, who built the Abbey around the main building.   The Spriory was followed by the Lantern Lodge: the headquarters of the Knights of Agamus, an order of explorers and innovators founded by those sworn to preserve and nurture the general ongoing work of Creation itself, both by defending it from its detractors and by contributing their own worlds and visions to ensure that there’s always more to the story.   Finally, Gri’x University was founded. As people from the various Connodi rediscover their connections to the worlds and realities beyond their own, the clerics of the Spriory and the Knights of Agamus realized that these lost and confused dreamers would need mentors to help them re-orient themselves to the true nature of existence (all of them) and learn to handle themselves and their ideas as constructively as possible. Before too long, the University was attracting students and teachers from all dimensions (‘Nodians or not), until it became one of the foremost academic institutes within the Perpetuarium.   Countless comings-and-goings of students, teachers, and seekers from one building to another eventually created the wide triangular path called the Triamble. The way is kept well-groomed, and they’ve put a nice park with a fountain in the middle of it.   While the village of Beaconspire itself sits more-or-less firmly in its original dimensional coordinates, the Triamble and the three main buildings transcend planar limitations. Existing simultaneously across many different dimensions (including DownTown Gri’x), the Campus offers easy access to beings from almost any reality.
