Putterday

Putterday is a day of the week that occurs randomly, taking the place of the day on which it happens to fall. Not everyone experiences Putterday at the same time; it’s a subjective event that applies only to individual perspectives. (Often one doesn't even realize that a day has become Putterday until well into mid-morning.)   On Putterday, one's activities have nothing to do with obligations, schedules, or anything that may have been pre-planned. One performs only those tasks which one feels like doing in the moment. Sometimes this results in nothing at all being done, but more often than not, Putterday turns out to be extremely productive.   Putterday is the result of excessive turbulence building up within one’s personal temporal field. Schedules and obligations create friction as they chaff against one another over the course of several days, resulting in bubbles of productivity becoming trapped beneath the cyclical currents. On Putterdays, a sudden and unexpected release of pressure in the system releases a deluge of progress and completed tasks as the currents are interrupted and the bubbles are allowed to escape.   Why, then, could every day not be a Putterday?   Deliberate implementation of a Putterday is difficult, if not impossible. The temporal field is a delicate balance of forces and momentum carried by its constituent particles (expectons, rememuons, and potentons). Conscious manipulation—or even overly-scrupulous observation—can play havoc with the currents in the field. If too many Putterdays occur too closely to one another, the denser material sinks to the bottom, the total internal pressure of the system diminishes to zero, and momentum-dependent productivity ceases. At this point, rigid schedules must be reinstated (usually from outside the system) in order for the currents of long-term progress to resume their forward motion.

I like this, I like the idea of this sort of day having a name, I might steal that name for real life honestly. :)

Take it with my blessings! I was using it IRL before I realized it was obviously of Gri'xian influence.
