Cross-Planar Ambassador

After the recent events in Hemming Ridge*, it became clear that communications between the Gri’x and the ‘Node could use some refining. (Frankly, this should have been obvious after the first Great Breach, but everyone was a little busy then, and who could have foreseen how far things were going to go?) In spite of the ‘Node’s biological defenses against just such developments, it does seem that conduits and channels between the two dimensions are open, permanent, and working at optimal capacity, creating a great deal of excitement and confusion.   Our worlds have a lot to learn about each other. What better place to start than by bestowing certain citizens of both dimensions with the honor of acting as Cross-Planar Ambassadors?   These officials have been chosen for their familiarity with both planes and their ability to listen, empathize, explain, and demonstrate how we can all benefit by nurturing stronger relationships between Creators and Created, Possibilities and Realities, and Ideals and Manifestations (and, in some cases, learning when and how to just stay out of each others’ way).   The Ambassadorial responsibilities are largely ceremonial for now, with the planar representatives making appearances whenever a new breach is detected, to help reassure the citizens of both planes and orient them to the new paradigms. Before long, though, it is to be hoped that they’ll meet and recruit experts in various fields from both planes. We have a lot of work ahead of us as we attempt to analyze the multiple phenomena, create and discover new subdimensions, analyze previously unrealized Laws of Existence, and establish a generally positive direction as we all try to figure out...what happens now?
